‘A really flavourful well-balanced dish, aesthetically it looked appealing, tasted fresh and left a really positive after taste and feeling of contentment.’ Comments from our testers, 2 Mar. 21
Serving two people with generous portions, this is our Burmese Jackfruit Khow Suey; this is an unctuous rich sauce with jackfruit, noodles & vegetables – clean, healthy, satisfying. We’ve learnt that Khow Suey is often served for breakfast in Burma which just sounds fab. Nothing wrong with overnight oats, but this little number would certain give the morning a lift and wake the tastebuds! We like eating this with a spoon – the regression to childish slurping with a spoon adds to the delight of it.
For a delicious and complete range of textures and flavours, we’re sending our Khow Suey with extras so you can pile up your bowl any which way you like:
- Pea and Sesame Salad with Salt and Pepper Tofu
- Green Chilli and Coriander Slaw
- Basmati rice
This is a truly delicious meal and we’re excited to put it onto the menu. We hope you enjoy!
